Diastolic and Systolic Blood Pressure

Blood pressure readings are measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and are provided as a pair of numbers. For example, 110 over 70 (written as 110/70) systolic/diastolic.
The lower number is the diastolic blood pressure reading. It represents the minimum pressure in the arteries when the heart is at rest. The higher number is the systolic blood pressure reading. It represents the maximum pressure exerted when the heart contracts.
Diastolic pressure occurs near the beginning of the cardiac cycle. It is the minimum pressure in the arteries when the pumping chambers of the heart — ventricles — fill with blood. Near the end of the cardiac cycle, systolic pressure, or peak pressure, occurs when the ventricles contract.
As the heart beats, it pumps blood through a system of blood vessels, which carry blood to every part of the body. Blood pressure is the force that blood exerts on the walls of blood vessels. All or any of the events related to the flow or blood pressure that occurs from the beginning of one heartbeat to the beginning of the next is called a cardiac cycle. Problems in the cardiac cycle can cause low or high blood pressure.

Diastolic
Systolic
Definition
It is the pressure that is exerted on the walls of the various arteries around the body in between heart beats when the heart is relaxed.
It measures the amount of pressure that blood exerts on arteries and vessels while the heart is beating.
Normal range
60 – 80 mmHg (adults); 65 mmHg (infants); 65 mmHg (6 to 9 years)
90 – 120 mmHg (adults); 95 mmHg (infants); 100 mmHg (6 to 9 years)
Importance with age
Diastolic readings are particularly important in monitoring blood pressure in younger individuals.
As a person's age increases, so does the importance of their systolic blood pressure measurement.
Blood Pressure
Diastolic represents the minimum pressure in the arteries.
Systolic represents the maximum pressure exerted on the arteries.

Blood Pressure reading
The lower number is diastolic pressure.
The higher number is systolic pressure.
Etymology
"Diastolic" comes from the Greek diastole meaning "a drawing apart."
"Systolic" comes from the Greek systole meaning "a drawing together or a contraction."

An adult is considered suffering from
  • hypotension if the diastolic reading is < 60 mmHg and systolic reading is < 90 mmHg
  • Prehypertension if the diastolic reading is 81 – 89 mmHg and systolic reading is 121 – 139 mmHg
  • Stage 1 Hypertension if the diastolic reading is 90 – 99 mmHg and systolic reading is140 – 159 mmHg
  • Stage 2 Hypertension if the diastolic reading is 100 mmHg and systolic reading is 160 mmHg
In the past, more attention was paid to diastolic pressure but it is now recognized that both high systolic pressure and high pulse pressure (the numerical difference between systolic and diastolic pressures) are risk factors. In some cases, it appears that a decrease in excessive diastolic pressure can actually increase risk, probably due to the increased difference between systolic and diastolic pressures.
Cardiovascular risk in those middle-aged and older is often more accurately predicted by using systolic blood pressure measurements than diastolic blood pressure measurements. Diastolic blood pressure can then be used to better understand the risks identified by systolic blood pressure.

Types of Brainwaves

Thought is an energy which is created in the conscious mind by the input of either sense organs or various software files of our memories. When thoughts enter into the brain, brainwaves are created. Thoughts can be compared to stones or pebbles and the brain can be compared to a pond. When pebbles or stones of are created in the brain. Thoughts are also similar to an electrical current. When an electrical current enters into a wire, a waves of 50 Hz frequency is created in the wire. These waves are categorized as per their frequency and voltage.
These are:

                (1) Alpha Waves: These are moderately fast (8 to 13 cycles per second) and are relatively high voltage waves. Normally, an EEG records these waves when an individual is awake, has his eyes closed, and is in a relaxed state with his cerebrum idling, so to say. This state keeps our mind and body relaxed and receptive and has a vast potential for performance. Alpha state of mind triggers our standard impressions of memory. These are related to truth, peace, purity, love, bliss, happiness, and willpower. These brainwaves are created by the Invisible Doctor.

                (2) Beta Waves: These are comparatively faster (13 to 25 cycles per second) than alpha waves but in amplitude, they are lower in voltage. Beta waves are obtained when an individual is awake, has his eyes open, and is in an activated or attentive state, that is to say when his cerebrum is not idling but is busily engaged with sensory and mental stimulation. Beta waves are further categorized as follows.

Normal: Between 13 and 18 Hz. This occurs when we are busy in our routine work. In this state, we are busy and active. Our biochemistry, hormones, and enzyme levels remain within normal range. Continuing in beta waves gives tiredness signal to the subconscious mind. These brainwaves are created by the Invisible Doctor in coordination with routine software.

Abnormal (Beta+): Between 18 and 25 Hz. Thoughts of past painful impressions of our memory bank trigger these waves. Our biochemistry and secretion of hormones and enzymes get affected. Tiredness and stress increase. Disturbance and uneasiness of mind cause diseases in the body. These brain waves are created by the Killer Doctor.

Most Abnormal (Super Beta): Between 25 and 50 Hz. Thoughts of negative impressions (like lust, anger, ego, jealousy, hatted, and greed) of our memory bank trigger these waves and cause distress and depression. All kinds of diseases start when the immune system weakness. Brain cells and capillaries get ruptured which cam causes brain haemorrhage and paralysis. These brainwaves are also created by the Killer Doctor.

Deranged: Beyond 50 Hz. Sign of mental disorder and madness. It also indicates loss of memory. These brainwaves are created by the Killer Doctor in order to upset the mind and destroy the body.

               (3) Theta Waves: These are moderately slow (3 to 7 cycles per second) and low voltage waves that predominate when drowsiness descends. This is a dream state. Consciousness doesn’t function but intellect keeps functioning with uncontrolled visualization of images from the subconscious mind.

All randomly recorded images (recorded by electronic or print media and by visualizations of waste and negative images during the awake state) get opened during the dream state, which makes our brain work during sleep. This lowers the potential despite sleeping more. The killer Doctor operates during this stage of sleep and destroys cells and tissues of the body and makes us feel tired despite sleep.

               (4) Delta Waves: These are the lowest (0.5 to 3 cycles per second) brainwaves and they have a high voltage. They are recorded when an individual is in deep as Slow Wave Sleep (SWS). These brainwaves are created by the Invisible Doctor.

This is the deep state of sleep that gives complete relaxation to our mind, intellect, and body. Our mind and body get charged due to deep relaxation. Constant state of delta waves triggers our standard impressions enabling the Invisible Doctor, to renew us physically, mentally, and spiritually. All inventions take place during this concentrated state of mind. The mysteries of the universe sometimes get revealed during dream waves between 3.5 and 4 Hz. If an EEG indicates that the cerebrum is producing to imply that the individual is dead.
